Our strength lies in our differences.

Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion lives in the very core of who we are and what we do. It’s foundational to our people, our work, our purpose.
DEI

Our DEI Manifesto

We seek a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives so we can create memories that matter for everyone.

We strive for equity by meeting people where they are, eliminating barriers and building on their unique talents so we can maximize everyone’s contribution. We seek to recognize, grow and unleash the perspective and possibility of each individual on our team. Together, we’re on a powerful journey. Our guiding principles:

We make
unforgettable
stories for all.

“We will not become the most unforgettable, ingenious, and influential agency in the world without an intentional focus and continued efforts towards our lofty diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. It is our top StoryMaker and agency priority.”

Meet some of the
amazing people
who make up GMR's
global family.

We're willing
to do the work.

We’re learning every day how to become better allies and advocates. It’s not always easy, but we’re comfortable with being uncomfortable. We’re holding ourselves accountable.

Here are some of the steps we're taking and the programs we’ve built to make DEI an integral part of agency life:

DEI is the foundation for creativity and has to be at the center of all we do. It is the key to growth.

We're engaging our employees

Employee Resource Groups including GLOW (Growth, Leadership & Opportunities for Women), Allied (focused on diversity, equity and inclusion) and a Health + Wellness group

Group learning sessions including interactive discussions, guest speakers, panels and AMAs

"Coffee Conversations" to build relationships across functions, levels and roles

Education resources, such as articles, podcasts, and our own original video series about GMR employees

We're taking time to reflect

Companywide observation of holidays including (but not limited to) Black History Month, International Women’s Day, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Pride Month, Juneteenth and Hispanic Heritage Month

Offices closed for reflection and formal observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth

We’re changing how we do business

Supplier diversity initiative to strengthen minority- and women-owned businesses

Unconscious bias training for all employees

Auditing and evolving recruitment and promotion processes to help increase representation in leadership positions
